Mallory’s Weekend Forecast - Windy and even warmer Sunday with elevated fire threat
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - High clouds this morning are making for a beautiful sunrise! Temperatures in the 30s and 40s to start, with highs in the Omaha Metro looking to break 70° for the first time since mid-November!

We have increased fired danger today – especially during the afternoon -- due to gusty SSW winds and low relative humidity. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for counties south of the Omaha Metro from Noon until 7 PM today.

Temperatures well above-normal continue through the start of the workweek, with highs Monday near 70° and highs Tuesday in mid-70s! A front will swing through Wednesday, bringing us our next chance for rain. Highs will drop into the 50s behind this front Thursday and Friday.

The pattern remains more active through the long-range forecast, with cooler highs next weekend in the mid to upper-40s… Much more typical of this time of year. We’ll have to keep an eye on next weekend for a chance for rain/snow as well. Winter may not be done with us just yet.
