One person wounded in North Omaha shooting

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha Police are investigating an early morning shooting.

Officers tell us they were called out to the scene 30th & Hamilton Street just after 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

When they arrived, they found a man with several gunshot wounds to both his upper and lower body.

No one was immediately arrested.

Hamilton Street was closed in both directions from 28th to 30th Streets while police investigated.

Officers are in the area of N 30th and Hamilton Streets for a felony assault investigation.

N 30th St north and southbound lanes are closed. Hamilton St from N 28th to N 30th Sts also closed in both directions.
